choo choo train

yeah!! exams are finally over!!
wonder if i can pass all the three modules..
first paper was tough, second was hard to recall, third was super rush..

anyway.. before my exams.. i treated my family to Kluang..
together with my bf's family and relatives.. a total of 41 people!!
we took the train from Tanjong Pagar to Kluang and transfered to a coach..
the coach took us around and drove us back to Singapore..

we visited a coffee factory, a confectionery, an organic park..etc
also, we had beef noodle, dim sum, durain and mangoes, as well as zhi char..
all in all.. it was fun but super warm due to the weather..

other updates as follows:

my plants are flowering now!! chillies coming out soon!!
but sad to say.. my corydoras are sold away.. have revamp my tank for the guppies..

last but now least.. my sister's princess has grown alot..
she is now laughing at our silly faces and sometimes even blabbering..
super duper adorable.. hehe.. two of my recent favorite pic below..

firstly, my plants have grown much taller again..
however the strong wind recently is bending my fragile plants..
so strong that i got to carry them indoor just in case the stem break..
haha.. hope they will grow faster with my love and care..

also, i have transformed my cactus from the small boring pot..
to something like a terrarium which i learnt online..
much pleasant to the eyes.. hehe..

next, my guppy mama gave birth again..
she had 9 cute little baby guppies..
now my tank is starting to be overcrowded..
thought of selling them away and get a higher grade pair to breed..
i guess after my exams ba.. busy busy..

another good news..
one of my shrimp is now berried..
looking forward to see the shrimplets!!
i think about a month or so..

last but not least.. it's my dad's birthday tomorrow..
went plaza to get him a cake and a small gift..
gonna surprise him later!!
he just got home and we are waiting for him to go for his shower..
then we will appear with the cake..
alright.. i know it's old tricks but still..
SURPRISE!! =D

exams are coming

time passes very quickly..
look how tall my chilli plants have grown (as compared to my previous post)..
even my guppy fries are big enough to be released into the tank..
and jie's baby girl is already a month old..
just attended her baby shower last Saturday..

isn't she lovely? looking so blur and innocent.. hehe..
felt like playing with her whenever i look at her photos..

haiz.. got to start preparing for exams now..
wonder why people can be so hardworking when i try so hard to concentrate..
no mood to study at all.. super sian..
i need lots and lots and lots and lots of coffee!!!!!!!!!!

bigger family

it has been a long long time since i last blog.. hehe..

was busy with school, assignments and work..

this semester seems to be very rush.. very short and lots of assignments..

soon assignments will be due and exams are just around the corner..

oh my.. i really hope i can score well for all modules..

shall update on two things..

firstly, my sis is giving birth soon!!

so excited about it as i love carrying babies..

might be going over to her house and stay for a few days..

because my grandma will be there too and i need her guide her to the market..

she will be helping my sis to "zhuo yue"..

don't know what is that called in english.. haha..

secondly, i have setup new tanks..

one is for cherry shrimps with horned nerite snail (first pic)..

another one is for various species of corydoras, guppies

and an apple snail (second pic)..

in addition, i have new plants too..

one pot of chilli plant (taken the seeds from kelong),

one pot of coriander and a mini pot of cactus (both from my grandma)..

despite my busy schedule, i still got to take care of all my "pets" and plants..

anyway.. they can help me to relax and de-stress.. lol..

cycled to botanic gardens

look!! we've cycled to botanic gardens and back this time!!

after the super tiring trip to orchard road.. i felt that i've more strength this time..

we took about three hour to and fro.. total of 25.83km..

i used an app called "cycle watch" to record our distance, speed, time..etc

notice that there are two line near the botanic gardens (referring to picture above)..

we actually took the wrong road.. that road was dark and scary..

we cycled deep in to a dead end and we cycled back to the main road..

it was extra exercise for us.. hehe..

we reached the botanic garden and realized that cycling is not allowed..

anyway.. it was dark in there and we can't admire the plants in the dark right??

so we headed back home without touring around..

on our way back.. we had coffee and toasted bread at sixth avenue..

it was one of our favorite breakfast venue..

in fact.. we just had our breakfast there this morning.. lol!

also.. we saw mediacorp artiste Chen Tai Ming..

it was our second time meeting him there..

first time Chen Li Ping was there too.. maybe they live somewhere near..

perhaps one of the big big bugalow at sixth avenue?? haha..

well.. that coffee shop is called good good eating house..

their fishball noodle/kway teow is nice.. wanton mee not bad.. chicken rice cmi..

the newly opened hokkien mee is too salty.. zhi char haven try before..

our coffee and bread is from the drink stall named may's cafe..

their breads are nicely toasted and half boil eggs are big.. yumyum!!

it was stated that they opened till 12am but when we reached at about 11pm..

all stalls were closed and our bread were their last order.. left with drinks only..

i guess that place are good only for breakfast.. not for supper.. hehe..

alright.. just had a good bath and i'm all ready for bed..

first week of 2011

new year count down was fun!!

the bbq was a success.. plenty of food for everyone..

at 12am.. we saw four fireworks coming from four different places..

isnt it cool?? guess the venue yourself.. haha..

yesterday.. we went T2 to fetch my parents who just came back from thailand..

we went to see the slide @ T3 and ate popeye which moved to T3 as well..

still prefer kfc's chicken leh.. shall try wendy's next time..

starting school tml.. will be busy this few weeks..

i'm having my training for new job scope at turf club this month too..

it's my third job scope already..

as they are taking in more races from other countries.. they need more staffs..

i've introduced two of my uni friends in..

well.. i'm looking forward to our trip to bali on 14-17 jan!!

will be skipping one lecture.. hehe..

shall update again when i'm back.. happy 2011 everyone~

i've went town twice today..

first to watch movie -little fockers .. second to cycle..

i think this year we took the most xmas tree photos.. hehe..

now im aching all over.. especially my shoulders..

new year is coming..

we'll be going for bbq plus count down..

let's wish 2011 will be a better year..

hope i'll be able to wear "fang mao zhi" by year end..
